Print Ruffle Tank Top MNG for Mango via (JC Penney), Capris (New York & Company), Sandals (Payless ShoeSource), Tote (Zara), Gold Chain Bracelet (Forever 21), Renegade Cluster Bracelet (Stella & Dot), Red Bracelet Lullu D Jewelry via (etsy), Gold Zig Zag Ring (Asos), and Sunnies (Forever 21).
My outfit for today is a Print Ruffle Tank Top I recently purchased at JCPenney's while I was looking around the store to see if they had anything. While I was there I absolutely fell in love with the red, white and blue bird print and ruffles on the top. I also, thought the colors on the top made it look really festive and fun. Although the top was on sale for only $14, it's still on sale now in stores and online. So I decided to pair my top with red capris, flat sandals, a tote, and red and gold accessories.

Pre-Colorblocked Blouse Romwe, Capris Worthington via JCPenney, Nude Wedges Nine West, Watch Michael Kors via ebay, Basilissa-Pave Bracelet via Ily Couture, and Tote Zara.
I thought I would do something different to switch up my style, so I decided on colorblocking. What's Colorblocking? Combining a solid colored piece with a different solid colored piece, for example a red blouse and a blue skirt. A Pre-Colorblocked piece has two different solid colors on it instead of one solid color. Both combinations look great when styled.
Anyway, I purchased my blouse from Romwe this past spring and I've been dying to wear it, but didn't think I had anything to pair it with. Who would have thought I all this time I already had a pair of orange capris hanging in my closet that looks great with it. I decided to pair my shirt with orange capris, a pair of nude wedges, a tote, and my new Ily Bracelet.

Yellow Striped T-Shirt NewYork&Company, Green Polka Dot Shorts OldNavy, Sandals PaylessShoeSource, Watch Michael Kors via ebay, Bracelets TheWayWeAre via etsy and Renegade Cluster Bracelet via Stella&Dot, and Tote Zara (not shown).
I wanted to do something different with my outfit for today that would be out of the norm for me, so I decided I would combine two styles polka dots and stripes. Since I already owned a pair of Green Polka Dot Shorts, I decided to pair them with a Striped Yellow & White T-Shirt to get my desired look. I added brown sandals, a tote and yellow and gold accessories. I think the outfit turned out nicely if I say so myself. Who would of ever thought of combining Polka Dots and Stripes?
Floral Blouse (H&M), Green Skirt (JCrew), Nude Pumps (Payless ShoeSource), Yellow Hobo (Express), and Gold Watch Michael Kors via (ebay).
My outfit for today was a Floral Blouse I recently purchased while shopping one day at H&M. I thought the blouse had a beautiful assortment of vibrant colors on it, so I decided to choose a few colors from the blouse to help me style it. The colors I chose were green, yellow, and a nude. I chose green because I already owned a Green Skirt from JCrew, and yellow because I also owned a bright yellow hobo. Finally, for my shoes I chose a pair of nude pumps to complete my outfit. I enjoyed how my outfit turned out and I hope you did too:)

Today's outfit is a Black & White Zebra Print Dress I purchased on one of my many shopping excursions to H&M:) I absolutely fell in love the print on the dress, I thought it was so fun. Although, it's my second time wearing the dress, I didn't post it on my blog the first time I wore it. So, I decided to wear it again so you guys could see how I styled for the second time. I thought I would pair my dress with a Louis Vuitton Tote, a pair of black sandals, black and gold jewelry, and sunnies.

My post for today is about how I learned to sew for the first time. This evening I took a beginner's sewing class at Joann's Fabric Store and learned the basics of sewing. Here are some of the tips that I learned: where to place my thread, how to run my thread into a spool, how to run my thread around my sewing machine, where to place my spool, how to place my bobbin, then threaded my needle. I even got a chance to sew several stitches.
For you advanced sewers out there I hoped I got the steps in correct order, if not eventually I will:) I had so much fun this evening, I had to share my excitement with you guys. I also bought pretty pink fabric to practice at home:) This is want I made on my first evening of sewing:
A Pink Pillowcase

Merona Breezy Printed Tunic
It's that time of the year again, school is about to begin and that means school shopping whether it's clothing or supplies. On this particular day my boys and I were going shopping for school supplies, so I decided we would go to Target. Since I knew it wouldn't take us long to pick up supplies, I thought I would take a look around the Women's Department to see what they had. While looking around I noticed this Breezy Printed Tunic hanging on the clearance rack and it was on sale from $20 to $10. Although the Belted Polka Dot Dress was not on sale it was only a mere $28 and I didn't think that was too bad for a cute dress ;) Also, I find these cute flat sandals on Target's website for only $15 a pair.
