Wordless Wednesday: LA Landmarks

While visiting California with my family a couple of weeks ago, I was able to get some great photos of some of the landmarks in the Los Angeles area.  Below are some of the photos I took while on the Movie Stars Home Tour...

Splurge vs. Save

I'm a girly girl and love all things fashion, so when asked if I'd like to participate in a campaign on splurging vs. saving, I was delighted to join in on the fun.  Recently, I've been looking for a pair of nude pumps to add to my growing collection of shoes, so while searching in-store & online I found a beautiful pair of Christian Louboutin's Rolando Hidden-Platform pumps at Bergdorf Goodman for $795.  Pretty shoes, but a little on the pricey side.

So, I continued searching until I found a pair of Vince Camuto "Kain" pumps at Nordstrom for only $88.95.  SCORE!  What a great price, not only do I love my new pumps, I get compliments every time I wear them.  I'm so happy I didn't go with the Bergdorf Goodman pair.

The Nail Files: Star Power

Hey everyone!  Recently I decided to remove my acrylics from my nails, so I could start doing my own nails for the summer. YEAH!  Also, I got tired of going to nail salons only to be waiting for long periods of time, so I bought the Red Carpet Manicure Pro Gel Kit.  I'M IN LOVE!  I used my gel kit for the first time last week and really liked my gel nails, so much so that I went back earlier this week and bought 3 more gel polishes.  Below is a photo of my Star Power gel manicure ;)
