The Nail Files: Let's Meet

I'm loving the Chill Out nail polish collection from SinfulColors Professional I've seen so far. So, for this week's manicure I thought I'd try a yellow glitter polish with a gold polish. I applied my SinfulColors clear coat, two coats of Let's Meet, and I finished with a coat of 24 carat.  I love how my nails turned out, so stay tuned for next week's nail files ;)

Splurge vs. Save

I'm a girly girl and love all things fashion, so when asked if I'd like to participate in a campaign on splurging vs. saving, I was delighted to join in on the fun.  Recently, I've been looking for a pair of nude pumps to add to my growing collection of shoes, so while searching in-store & online I found a beautiful pair of Christian Louboutin's Rolando Hidden-Platform pumps at Bergdorf Goodman for $795.  Pretty shoes, but a little on the pricey side.

So, I continued searching until I found a pair of Vince Camuto "Kain" pumps at Nordstrom for only $88.95.  SCORE!  What a great price, not only do I love my new pumps, I get compliments every time I wear them.  I'm so happy I didn't go with the Bergdorf Goodman pair.

Wordless Wednesday: Disney California Adventure Park

Recently, my family & I got a chance to visit the state of California for the first time this summer, and two of the attractions on our California itinerary was Disneyland & Disney California Adventure Park. YEAH!  Also, I'm glad we visited both parks because there are subtle changes in the some of the rides that are different from the rides at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Fabulous!  What a great twist Disney!

So, one of my favorites was the Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park because everything about the ride & area surrounding the ride was simplicity great.  Gotta love Disney ;)

Here are several photos of us at the Cars Land...

The Nail Files: Pipaya

Hello everyone, it's that time again for The Nail Files with Jennie Shaw. So, for today's manicure I decided to use a Sinful Colors Professional Silk nail polish called Pipaya. I applied 2 coats of the nail polish, but decided not to add a base or top coat because I wanted a matte finish. Viola!

The Nail Files: Star Power

Hey everyone!  Recently I decided to remove my acrylics from my nails, so I could start doing my own nails for the summer. YEAH!  Also, I got tired of going to nail salons only to be waiting for long periods of time, so I bought the Red Carpet Manicure Pro Gel Kit.  I'M IN LOVE!  I used my gel kit for the first time last week and really liked my gel nails, so much so that I went back earlier this week and bought 3 more gel polishes.  Below is a photo of my Star Power gel manicure ;)
