While putting the finishing touches on my Go Green Tote, I realized I
had a quite a bit of red fabric leftover, so I decided to make a quick
trip to Joann's Fabric Store to pick up some coordinating fabric to make
a zipper pouch, Kindle case, and sunglass pouch out of my scraps.
However, I've never learned how to sew on a zipper, but it wasn't as
bad as I thought it would be, I eventually figured it out. So, from
start to finish it only took me a couple of hours to complete my pouch
and it was so worth it because I made it. I can't wait to finish my
tote and start making my new Kindle case and sunglass pouch. When I'm
done with my tote, I will post photos, so you can see how everything
turned out.
